The AWESOME power of prayer!
“And they devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers. And awe came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were being done through the apostles. And all who believed were together and had all things in common. And they were selling their possessions and belongings and distributing the proceeds to all, as any had need. And day by day, attending the temple together and breaking bread in their homes, they received their food with glad and generous hearts, praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to their number day by day those who were being saved.”
Lord, ignite a passion for prayer and fellowship with other believers that would lead us to adopt a lifestyle that proclaims to the world, “YOU are our only treasure!”
Last month, Zimbabwe’s speaker of Parliament announced the formation of a committee which will oversee the drafting of a new constitution.
- PRAY NOW that the members of this committee will humble themselves, put political ambition aside, and seek the Lord through prayer for guidance as they create a new constitution for Zimbabwe.
- PRAY NOW for God to establish peace and unity in Zimbabwe’s bi-partisan government.
- PRAY NOW that the Church will provide invaluable leadership and counsel in the creation of a new constitution that honors and exalts our Creator, who is forever praised.
- PRAY NOW for God to revive and unite the Body of Christ in Zimbabwe.
- PRAY NOW for God to ignite a passion for fervent prayer among the Church Leadership.
- PRAY NOW that God will continue to open doors for the Church in Zimbabwe to lead the movement for spiritual, social, and economic change.
