1. Pray for the Seed Sowers Prayer Summit Leadership Team in Zimbabwe, consisting of representatives from each of the ten Zim provinces & facilitated by Lovejoy Tirivepi.  Pray for increased effectiveness to be catalytic instruments connecting individuals and ministries with the corporate prayer movement in and for Zimbabwe’s destiny in God’s eternal plan.

Oh Lord, we cry out for Zimbabwe! Establish your Kingdom in Zimbabwe, just as you have established your Kingdom in Heaven. Bring a spirit of repentance that sweeps across this precious nation. Break down the strongholds of generational sin that has entangled her people. Bring the blessed relief and restoration that comes through confession and forgiveness of sin!

• PRAY NOW for God to open up the skies of mercy and rain down a cleansing flood of forgiveness that will sweep over Zimbabwe.
• PRAY NOW that God will unite the Body of Christ in Zimbabwe through prayer.
• PRAY NOW for God to prepare the hearts of those who will be in attending “The Seed Sowers Prayer Summit” in Victoria Falls, the 17^th & 18^th of July.
• PRAY NOW for Lovejoy Tirivepi as he builds relationships and extends invitations to farmers, pastors, and business leaders to attend the Prayer Summit.
• PRAY NOW for clear direction, guidance, and effectiveness for Lovejoy as he partners with Living Water to fix broken water pumps in Zimbabwe.
• PRAY NOW that God will give Pastors Colin Millar, Lovejoy Tirivepi, John Parks, and Randy Campbell insight as they prepare and plan The Seed Sowers Prayer Summit.
• PRAY NOW that God will continue to provide financially for those individuals who have been called to attend the Seed Sowers Prayer Summit.

Lord, ignite a passion for prayer and fellowship with other believers that would lead us to adopt a lifestyle that proclaims to the world, “YOU are our only treasure!”

Last month, Zimbabwe’s speaker of Parliament announced the formation of a committee which will oversee the drafting of a new constitution.

• PRAY NOW that the members of this committee will humble themselves, put political ambition aside, and seek the Lord through prayer for guidance as they create a new constitution for Zimbabwe.
• PRAY NOW for God to establish peace and unity in Zimbabwe’s bi-partisan government.
• PRAY NOW that the Church will provide invaluable leadership and counsel in the creation of a new constitution that honors and exalts our Creator, who is forever praised.
• PRAY NOW for God to revive and unite the Body of Christ in Zimbabwe.
• PRAY NOW for God to ignite a passion for fervent prayer among the Church Leadership.
• PRAY NOW that God will continue to open doors for the Church in Zimbabwe to lead the movement for spiritual, social, and economic change.

Brothers and sisters, we are engaged in a face-to-face, spiritual conflict for the souls and men and women, and the destiny of nations. Ephesians 6:13 says “Be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on all of God’s armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies of the devil. For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places.”

Through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, the war has been won, but the conflict rages on. Let us unite together and pursue a radical, wartime lifestyle as we pray for the transformation that only God can bring to Zimbabwe!

So submit those prayers and watch how God’s will comes to life before your very eyes!

I had the honor of travelling to Zimbabwe in November of 2008.  I was allowed to talk and work with the leaders of this great country on how to build healthy relationships.  Who knew a marriage and family guy would ever get to travel to Zimbabwe to teach and train pastors, leaders, and individuals on how to have better relationships! This is my prayer for Zim:

Dear Heavenly Father, I ask that you first forgive me of my sins.  Forgive me of my intolerance and indifference.  Lord I ask in the name of Jesus that you bring healing and restoration to Zimbabwe’s wounded heart.   Lord, I know that you are in charge of Zimbabwe and I ask you to bless their land and each and ever person living on it.  I ask that You bring someone in to the life of Robert Mugabe who can challenge him to put you first and to repent of his sinful actions.  Allow the suffering and the pain of this great land to begin a firestorm of revival! Thank You for loving Zimbabwe and I ask that you reveal your will in how Zimbabwe will be restored and renewed. Amen.
