Greetings to you, brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus! The Pray Now Zimbabwe website exists to identify, unite, and ignite the Body of Christ in a global prayer network for Zimbabwe. My name is Casey McKown, and I am honored to serve as your “Prayer General” as we intercede for Zimbabwe before the throne of Jesus Christ, our Commander in Chief. God broke my heart for Zimbabwe in November of 2009, while traveling with my good friend, Michael Smalley. Brothers and sisters, we are engaged in a face-to-face, spiritual conflict for the souls and men and women, and the destiny of nations. Ephesians 6:13 says “Be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on all of God’s armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies of the devil. For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places.”
Through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, the war has been won, but the conflict rages on. Let us unite together and pursue a radical, wartime lifestyle as we pray for the transformation that only God can bring to Zimbabwe!
